How to Test Your Production Bot

Step 1: Open the Bot Selector

Click your bot’s name (or avatar) in the top-right corner to reveal the dropdown.

Step 2: Launch “Test Production Bot”

Choose Test Production Bot ▶️ from the list. A chat window connected to your live bot instance will appear.

Step 3: Interact in Real Time

Enter questions or test scenarios and observe how the production version responds. Use this to uncover any regressions or edge-case issues.

Step 4: Review Conversations in Analytics

All test sessions are automatically logged. In the Analytics dashboard, you’ll see:

• Total conversations
• Deflection and intent-recognition rates
• User feedback trends (👍 vs. 👎)

Step 5: Share Your Test Environment

1. Copy the URL of the Test Production Bot window.
2. Send it to teammates or stakeholders—no extra setup required.
3. Their interactions will feed into your Analytics just like yours.
